Special Gopakuteeram sessions in Chicago

Secial sessions were conducted for Gopakuteeram kids in Chicago from April 13th to April 15th. On Saturday, the 13th of April, Sri Poornimaji conducted a ‘Bhakta Bingo’ game and all the kids participated with great zeal. This event was preceded by Akanda Nama sankirtan for three hours in the morning where all the kids and parents chanted Mahamantra joyfully. Chicago GOD chapter organized a Gopa Kuteeram Art competition for kids of all ages in the Eola Community center on Sunday, April 15th 2012. Twelve kids enthusiastically participated and enthralled everyone with their paintings. Sri Poornimaji awarded trophies and plaques to the first and second place winners and all participants were given a certificate and a small craft kit. On Monday, April 16th 2012, Sri Poornimaji delivered an impactful lecture to the parents of Gopakuteeram kids about Parenting and substantiated the precept that parenting is indeed an art. She also stressed on the importance of imparting the spiritual and moral values to the kids at a young age.
