Janmashtami satsang was celebrated at Mansfield,MA on 6th sep 2010 .Around 25 members including kids participated in Akhanda Namasankeerthan which was perfomed from 10.00AM till 3.30PM and was a joyous experience for one and all.This was followed by, Krishna Janana parayanam from Srimad Bhagavatham and was recited by all the devotees.Sri Narayananji of GOD satsang narrated ,how Srimad Bhagavatam was gifted to mankind as a result of Veda Vyasa’s worry about the future of the world. He concluded with a wonderful talk on krishna jananam explaining the chapters 1,2 and 3 of canto 10 from Bhagavatham.
Following this, Nandotsavam took place.Each gopa and gopika were drenched in krishna bhakthi ,enjoying the krishna jananam by singing the glories and leelas of nandagopalan like vishamakara kannan, pattu krishna…Not but not the least ,kids took the center stage and performed Krishna Bhajans, dhyana slokas and keerthans.Their performance made everyone spell bound including our pattu Krishna who was enjoying and viewing the whole event from his little cradle.Candies and “Hare Rama” Mahamantra stickers were distributed to the kids.The satsang was concluded by singing “kaliyayum bali” and Harathi.Prasadam was distributed to all the devotees.
